ENROLL IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
We provide high-quality, comprehensive preschool for children ages 3 to 5 in Gallatin and Park Counties. Funded through a Head Start grant, our program serves over 150 children in HRDC-operated classrooms in Bozeman and Belgrade, as well as in Livingston through a partnership with the Livingston School District.
We support healthy child development and strong families by offering early learning opportunities, health and nutrition services, mental health and disability support, and access to vital family resources like housing, food, education, and financial coaching.

Head Start
If you have a child between the ages of 3 and 5 (who turns five after the school district cutoff of September 10), your family may qualify for our free preschool services through HRDC’s Head Start grant.
Eligibility is based on factors such as income below 130% of the federal poverty level, receiving SNAP, TANF, or SSI, having a foster child, or experiencing homelessness. Families who spend more than 30% of their income on housing may also qualify, as excess housing costs can be deducted from gross income.
