GET FOOD ASSISTANCE

No one should go to bed hungry.

Our work to alleviate hunger is rooted in the belief that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. Our food and nutrition programs provide both immediate relief and long-term support through community food banks, hot prepared meals at Fork & Spoon, free summer lunches for kids, and more. By meeting people where they are and reducing barriers to access, we help ensure that individuals and families across Southwest Montana have the food they need to thrive.

Programs for Kids and Families

Free Summer Lunch for Kids

We offer free weekday lunches for kids all summer long to help fill the gap when school meals are unavailable. This program ensures that children have access to nutritious food throughout the summer months—because no child should go hungry when school is out. The current menu can be found here.

Senior Groceries

We provide monthly nutritional support to eligible older adults through our Senior Groceries program. Each month, qualified seniors receive a box of shelf-stable items including canned fruits and vegetables, juice, dairy, proteins, and grains. With help from more than thirty dedicated volunteers, many of these boxes are delivered right to our customers’ front doors.
