OUR CHILDCARE AND YOUTH STRATEGY
In our Community Needs Assessment, childcare emerged as a critical factor shaping economic stability and workforce participation across our service area. In response, our childcare and youth strategy focuses on promoting available and affordable quality childcare and offering childcare through our Head Start programs in ways that better address local needs.

- Develop strategies, tools and metrics for school readiness
- Monitor House Bill 352 for 4-year old literacy program expansion
- Support expansion of Best Beginning Scholarship utilization
- Participate in design and implementation of Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS)
